A Palestinian Martyr in the Old City of Jerusalem
On Thursday morning, a Palestinian woman was martyred, after she was shot dead nearAl-Silsileh Gate Road in the Old City of Jerusalem.
In a statement, the Israeli police announced the death of the 30-year-old Palestinian woman, a resident of the town of Qabatya.
The occupation authorities claimed that the young woman tried to stab a policeman near Al-Silsileh Gate.
For more than an hour, the occupation forces closed the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City, erected iron barriers, and spread its forces in all areas and roads, and prevented entry and exit from the Old City.
Hundreds of students, teachers, employees and workers complained about obstructing their movement and access to their schools and work.
