On Tuesday, the occupation authorities demolished the home of the Jerusalemite Martyr, Fadi Abu Shkheidem, in the Shu’fat refugee camp in the city of Jerusalem, after the Israeli Supreme Court rejected his family’s appeal against the “house demolition decision.”

The occupation forces demolished the interior walls of the house of Abu Shkheidem, which is located on the third floor of the family's residential building, then closed it using "welding", and wrote on its door, "No entry."

Samira Sweiti, the mother of Martyr Fadi, explained that the occupation forces, in large numbers, stormed her house after destroying its door, and refused to wait until the door was opened for them. who are they.Within a few seconds, the forces stormed the houses of the building, detained those in the building, and forced them to sit and not talk together, and confiscated their mobile phones.

The martyr's mother added that the forces assaulted her son at the moment of the storming by pushing, and also prevented them, during detention, from going to the bathroom, or moving from their places.

On his part, Osama Abu Shkheidem - the martyr's brother - said that large numbers of soldiers stormed the building from its entrances, "the main door and the garage", and smashed the doors, assaulted those present with pushing and detained them in one of the rooms of the apartment "first floor", then interrogated them individually and subjected them to threats from intelligence.

He said: "This is not the first intrusion into the house, but it is the most violent. They treated everyone brutally."

During the siege and demolition of the house of the martyr Abu Shkheidem, the forces deployed in the streets of the camp, the helicopter flew over the camp, and gas bombs and rubber bullets were repeatedly thrown around the building.

The forces also deliberately fired bombs when storming the camp and during their exit from it, and this coincided with the students heading to their schools and the end of their school day.

Fadi Abu Shkheidem was martyred on November 21, 2021, after carrying out a shooting attack in the Herods Gate area in Jerusalem, which led to the killing of a settler and wounding others, and the authorities continue to detain the martyr's body in the occupation refrigerators.
