Arrests made including the mother of two prisoners
On Wednesday, the occupation forces arrested the mother of two Jerusalemite prisoners, and 5 other young men.
Amjad Abu Asab, head of the Jerusalem Prisoners’ Families Committee, explained that the occupation forces carried out arrests of the families of Jerusalemite prisoners from Shata prison and transferred them to the Bisan police. They are: Aziza Mashhara, the mother of the two prisoners Ramadan and Fahmi, and Ahmed Najib - brother of the prisoner Alaa - and one of the young men present.
On the other hand, the lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem stated that the occupation forces arrested Fathi Al-Jabari - after summoning him for interrogation - and Muhammad Hamza Obaid from Issawiya, and Mustafa Kershan from the "Industrial Zone / Atarot".
Prison sentence
The District Court issued a 12-month actual prison sentence for the boy, Muhammad Hanti, from al-Tur, who has been detained since the end of May last year, as explained by the center’s lawyer, Muhammad Mahmoud.
