Handing over the body of martyr Jamil Al-Tamimi
The Occupation Court decided to hand over the body of martyr Jamil Al-Tamimi, 63, to his family, for burial in the Bab Al-Rahma cemetery in Jerusalem.
The lawyer of Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem Muhammad Mahmoud explained that the court approved the petition submitted by the lawyer to hand over the body of the martyr Jamil Al-Tamimi, to his family, according to the following conditions: “The body will be released at 10 p.m. Monday at the Regional Police Center in Sheikh Jarrah, and then to Al-Maqased hospital and then to the Bab al-Rahma cemetery for burial in the participation of 30 people only.”
Lawyer Muhammad Mahmoud explained that Al-Tamimi was martyred in Nitzan prison, at the end of last month, and has been detained since April 2017 on charges of “carrying out a stabbing attack on the light rail.”
According to what the Israeli Prisons Administration published in a statement issued by it, it said: “Al-Tamimi was found lying on the floor in his cell in Nitzan Prison, unconscious and without a pulse.”
