Sheikh Jarrah…Settlers attack the residents and open fire
On Saturday, settlers attacked the residents of the "Al-Sumoud Building" in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, with bullets, beatings and insults.
The young man, Muhammad Ishtay, was wounded in the waist area, and his wounds were described as moderate, as a result of a settler attacking him with a pistol.
The residents explained that the settlers attacked the Al-Sumoud building and its surroundings, and tried to break into the houses, using insults and profanity. While being confronted by the residents, the settlers randomly opened fire.
After the police came to the place to investigate what had happened, they assaulted a number of young men by pushing them away from the vicinity of the building, and fired sound grenades in the area.
