After beating them…arresting three young men from Al-Wad Street

On Sunday evening, the occupation forces arrested 3 young men from Al-Wad Street in the Old city of Jerusalem.

The lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, Firas Al-Jabrini, explained that the forces arrested the young men: Muhammad Hani Assaileh, Abdul Rahman Al-Bashiti, and his brother Hisham.

Al-Jabrini added that the forces transferred the detainees to the Al-Qishla police station in the Old City of Jerusalem, and after the investigation they extended the arrest of the two Al-Bashiti brothers to present them to the court, while Assaileh was released.

Eyewitnesses explained that the forces stopped Abdul Rahman Al-Bashiti while he was walking in Al-Wad Street, and one of the soldiers pushed him and demanded him to show his identity card, during which a group of soldiers assaulted and pushed him. While Hisham was walking in the area, he was told that his brother Abdul Rahman is being detained, he rushed to ask what was going on, but the soldiers attacked him and threw him to the ground and started beating him.

Witnesses added that the forces also assaultedMuhammad Assaileh, while he was walking in Al-Wad Street, by beating him with their hands and feet after throwing him to the ground.
