The “Kippur” Jewish holiday…closures in the streets of Jerusalem and storming Al-Aqsa Mosque

The occupation police closed, on Tuesday afternoon, streets and roads in the city of Jerusalem, while hundreds of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa, on the eve of the Yom Kippur holiday.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center/Jerusalem stated that, since the afternoon hours, the occupation police placed concrete cubes, red tapes and iron barriers at the entrances to main streets in Jerusalem and towns and neighborhoods in the city, and completely prohibited traffic in some areas.

On the other hand, 548 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, through the Dung Gate, during the morning and afternoon incursions periods.

Settlers also blew the trumpet after storming the Bab al-Rahma cemetery.

On Tuesday evening, the occupation forces arrested a young man from Damascus Gate area.

They also arrested the child Salah al-Natsheh, 11 years old, after he left his school on his way to his home in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood in Silwan.

The forces also arrested a young man, Siraj Abu Sbitan, from the town of Al-Tur.

The court extended the arrest of the boy, Ali Qneibi, from Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, until next Thursday.

The occupation police deported the freed prisoner Nitham Abu Rammouz from Al-Aqsa for a period of 6 months.
