11 arrests from the city of Jerusalem ... A thorough search at the Shu’fat refugee camp checkpoint

At dawn today, Tuesday, the occupation forces carried out arrests from the Shu’fat refugee camp and Anata.

The occupation and intelligence forces stormed the town of Anata and Shu’fat refugee camp, at approximately 2:00 am, and carried out raids on several houses, and made arrests, including a woman. Among the detainees, according to local sources from the area, were Amjad Abu Rajab, Nader Abu Rajab, Fadi Saad, Ahmed Taha, Atef Al-Tamimi, Bilal Al-Dayafeen, and a woman.

Since dawn, the occupation forces have tightened inspection procedures at Shu’fat refugee camp checkpoint for pedestrians and vehicles, which led to traffic jams at the checkpoint and in the camp's streets. The forces also closed the pedestrian passage for entering the camp.

In the village of Issawiya, the forces stormed the streets of the village and arrested the young man, Mohammad Al-Masri.

The forces also arrested Shadi Khoury, from the town of Beit Hanina, and severely beat him during the arrest.

Late Monday evening, the forces arrested the two boys, Mohammad al-Natsheh and Abd al-Rahman Houshieh, from the town of Beit Hanina.
