Public Prosecution: No intent to hand over the body of the martyr Mohammad Abu Jum'a

The lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, Mohammad Mahmoud, said that the Israeli Public Prosecution Office responded on Wednesday evening to the petition submitted about the handover of the body of the Jerusalemite martyr Mohammad Abu Jum’a.

The lawyer explained that the prosecution said that it does not intend to hand over the body to his relatives for burial, but that it will remain in the refrigerators.

The lawyer added that the Supreme Court's response to the appeal will now be awaited.

In early October, the lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, Mohammad Mahmoud, submitted a petition to the Israeli Supreme Court, to hand over the body of the Jerusalemite martyr Mohammad Abu Jum'a.

The young man, Mohammad Abu Jum'a, was martyred, on 22/9/22, near the settlement of "Modi'in", with bullets from the occupation, after he got out of his cousin's car in the place.
