Issawiya…Sentencing three boys
On Monday, the District Court issued prison sentences against 3 boys from the village of Issawiya.
Mohammad Mahmoud, a lawyer for the Wadi HilwehInformation Center -Jerusalem, explained that the judges sentenced the boys:
1. Baha Fanoun: an actual prison term of 20 months, and a 10-month suspended sentence for a period of 3 years.
3. Mahmoud Abdel-Rahman: an actual prison term of 18 months, and a 10-month suspended sentence for a period of 3 years.
2. Daoud Attia: 15 months in prison and a 10-month suspended sentence for 3 years.
The forces arrested the boys during the months of March and April of this year.
