Administrative detention…arrests

On Monday evening, the occupation forces arrested 3 boys from inside the "light rail" in Jerusalem.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem explained that the "light rail guards" checked the identities of 3 boys while they were on the train, and during that one of them assaulted and beat the boys for no reason.

The witnesses added that the "train guards" took the boys by force outside the train, searched them, detained them on the ground, and prevented anyone from approaching them, and forced all the passengers to get out of the train.

On his part, the lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, Firas al-Jabrini, explained that the boys who were arrested from the "light rail" are: Akram Ibrahim Islak, Akram Sbeih and Adam Maraqa, and they were transferred to the Al-Maskobyeh police station for investigation.

On the other hand, the lawyer of Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, Mohammad Mahmoud, stated that the young man, Ahmed Derbas, was transferred to administrative detention for a period of 4 months. It is noteworthy that he was arrested on Sunday and he is from the village of Issawiya.

The Magistrate's Court also decided to release the Jerusalemite Musa Al-Qadamani, from Al-Sowaneh neighborhood, while the "Public Prosecution" called for freezing the decision to appeal it to the District Court, noting that he was arrested on Sunday.

In the evening, the forces arrested the young man, Mohammad Abu Al-Hawa.
