December 14, 2022

After midnight, the occupation police deported a freed prisoner from the city of Jerusalem, after the end of his 8-month sentence in prison.

On Tuesday evening, the occupation forces stormed the town of Al-Tur, and called the family of the freed prisoner, Riyad Qarawi, "hours after his release," and demanded that the father of the prisoner and the freed prisoner come immediately to the police stationed in Al-Tur.

Mohammad Qarawi explained that the police arrested him and his son and transferred them to the Salah al-Din Street police station for investigation, and charged them with incitement and raising flags during the reception in al-Tur.

Qarawi added that the police detained him and his son for more than 6 hours in the interrogation center, then released them on condition that Riyad be deported from Jerusalem for 3 days.
