Closing the house of Martyr Khairy Alqam in Silwan
The occupation forces closed, at dawn today, Sunday, the house of the Jerusalemite martyr Khairy Alqam, in the Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in the town of Silwan, by a decision of the "Political and Security Council of Ministers" that was held late on Saturday evening.
The occupation forces allowed the family of the martyr Alqam to empty some of the contents of its house, then the forces closed the doors and windows with special devices.
The occupation forces raided the house of the Alqam family late on Friday evening, "hours after a shooting attack carried out by the martyr Khairy Alqam in the Nabi Yaqoub settlement."
The family explained that the forces completely prevented them from entering house, until a decision was made to empty its contents.
The family explained that the soldiers turned the house of the martyr Khairy and its surroundings into a military barracks, by preventing entry to the house and using very strict procedures to enter the building, which includes other houses.
