A new unit for arrests in Sheikh Jarrah…Arresting 3 Jerusalemites
The occupation forces arrested, at dawn Tuesday, 3 Jerusalemites, after storming their homes in the villages of Issawiya and Sur Baher in Jerusalem.
The lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center, Mohammad Mahmoud, stated that the forces arrested Wael Sabta, Ahmed Kayed Mahmoud, and Mohammad Abdel-Jawad.
The center's lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the police formed a "special unit" two days ago to follow up on arrests in the city of Jerusalem, and its location is in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and it is similar to the units that were formed in April and December last year, and at that time there was a noticeable increase in the number of arrests in the city.
Lawyer Mahmoud added that the police began to transfer the detainees to the new unit in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, in addition to summoning young men and boys to it.
