Sentencing two young men from Al-Tur
On Monday morning, the District Court issued an actual prison sentence against two Jerusalemite youths from the town of Al-Tur.
The lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, Mohammad Mahmoud, stated that the judge sentenced Mohammad Abu al-Hawa to 62 months in prison and a fine of 10,000 shekels, and sentenced Mohammad Sbitan to 56 months in prison.
The prosecution charged the two youths with "throwing stones at a settlers’ vehicle and injuring a female settler."
On the other hand, the police released the young men, Ahmed Al-Masri, Rashid Darwish, and Ahmed Mustafa, from the village of Issawiya, after arresting them at dawn and interrogating them for several hours, about "civil disobedience in the village on Sunday."
