Sheikh Jarrah – Suppression, arrests and spraying wastewater
On Friday, the occupation forces attacked demonstrators in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem learned that the forces carried out arrests and assaulted demonstrators and residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, using waste water and beatings.
Eyewitnesses told the center that the forces arrested 8 Jewish and foreign solidarity activists, as well as the Jerusalemite activist, Mohammad Abu al-Hummus, and a young woman.
The forces beat and pushed the detainees during their arrest.
The forces suppressed the demonstrators upon their arrival on the confiscated land of the Salem family, while dozens of settlers insulted the demonstrators, the Arabs, and the families of Sheikh Jarrah, and pushed some of the demonstrators under police protection.
