The occupation forces stormed, at ten o'clock on Wednesday evening, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in conjunction with the “Al-Taraweeh” and “Witer” prayers.

Occupation officers and dozens of members of the Special Forces deployed at the gates of the al-Qibli prayer hall and in its yard, and began to provoke the worshipers by removing them from the al-Qibli prayer yard, then expelling the worshipers who were present at the doors of the prayer hall and beating them with batons. Within minutes, the heavily armed forces stormed the hall.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem stated that dozens of worshipers were attacked inside the Al-Qibli prayer hall, while they were performing the “Witer” prayer.

The center stated that the forces stormed the Al-Qibli prayer hall, and fired sound bombs and rubber bullets inside, targeting the worshipers'.

The center stated, quoting eyewitnesses, that the forces forcibly removed all the worshipers from the al-Qibli prayer hall, and prevented them from entering it, then they got stationed at its doors.

Teams of special forces also pursued the worshipers until they were removed from the gates of Al-Aqsa, as well as pursued them outside the gates and assaulted them by beating them with batons and pushing them, especially at the Lions Gate, Hutta Gate, and Al-Silsileh Gate.

The Red Crescent in Jerusalem said that its crews transferred two injured people from Al-Aqsa to the hospital for treatment.
