Deportations from Al-Aqsa and the Old City of Jerusalem

The occupation authorities continue to issue deportation orders from the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem stated that the occupation authorities handed Musab Abbasi a decision to expel him from Al-Aqsa Mosque for a period of 3 months.

The occupation authorities also decided to release the two young men, Mohammad Obaid and Ali Obaid, on the condition that they be deported from the Old City for a period of 10 days, and that a financial guarantee of 500 shekels be paid for each of them.

The occupation intelligence also released a young Jerusalemite woman, on the condition that she be deported from the Old City for a period of two weeks, after she was arrested from Damascus Gate area.

The judge also decided to release the boy, Amir Abbasi, on condition of deportation from Al-Aqsa Mosque and house arrest for a week. Amir Abbasi was arrested last Saturday while walking in Al-Wad Street in the Old City of Jerusalem, and he was severely beaten during his arrest and detention in the police station, and signs of beatings appeared on him “on the face, neck and back.”

The judge also decided to release the young man, Mustafa Abbasi, on the condition that he be expelled from Al-Aqsa until the end of this month. Abbasi was arrested last Saturday while accompanying his cousin Amir, and he was also beaten.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem stated that the occupation authorities escalated the deportation decisions from the Old City of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, during the month of April, as the center monitored 622 deportation decisions, which included deportation decisions from the Old City, Al-Aqsa Mosque, the city of Jerusalem, from the place of residence, and from the streets of the city, and the period of deportation ranged from one week to 6 months.

The center pointed out that among the deportation decisions, 433 decisions were deportation from the Old City, and 182 from Al-Aqsa Mosque.
