Jerusalem- A general strike…Arresting 3 of Al-Aqsa employees and prevention of restoration works
On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 3 employees of the Islamic Endowment Department from Al-Aqsa Mosque, in conjunction with continuing to prohibit the "Reconstruction Committee" from working in the mosque.
Eyewitnesses explained that members of the police arrested 3 employees of the Islamic Endowment Department, they are: Hussam Sider, Mohammad al-Salhi, and Arafat Najib.
The Israeli authorities continued to prevent the Reconstruction Committee employees from carrying out maintenance and restoration work in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, for the third day in a row.
The police had informed the director of the reconstruction committee in Al-Aqsa to prohibit any work in the mosque, and if any employee did so he would be arrested.
A general strike
On the other hand, there was a general commercial strike in the city of Jerusalem at the call of the national and Islamic forces in the city of Jerusalem, mourning the souls of the Jenin refugee camp and denouncing the aggression imposed on the camp for the second day in a row.
And in the late hours of yesterday evening until hours after midnight, confrontations broke out in the towns and neighborhoods of Jerusalem in support of the Jenin camp.
