Suppressing a sit-in against the demolition of houses in Silwan On Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Jamil Al-Silwadi and his son Ahmed, from the neighborhood of Batn Al-Hawa in the town of Silwan.  

The occupation forces suppressed a sit-in on Saturday evening in Al-Ain Street in Silwan, organized against the demolition of the houses in the town.  

The participants, most of them from the youth, raised signs that read "No to demolishing the houses... the policy of demolishing the houses will fall... Stop the demolition", and raised the Palestinian flag, during which the forces stormed the place, and threw the gas bombs in abundance.  

Clashes broke out in Al-Ain Street, the Bi’er Ayoub neighborhood, and the entrance to the Al-Bustan neighborhood in Silwan. Nidal Al-Rajabi received a decision to demolish his house in the Al-Bustan neighborhood, and Al-Rajabi confirmed that the demolition operations in the Al-Bustan neighborhood are to control and seize the land.  

The occupation forces suppressed the weekly demonstration in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, after the attack on the residents of the neighborhood by the forces and the settlers. The forces also arrested the Jerusalemite activist Mohammad Abu al-Hummos on Friday, and Thaer Qawasmi, Uday al-Ouri, and Ramadan Al-Sa’ou from the neighborhood.
