The second day of "Sukkot" - 859 settlers storm Al-Aqsa...pushing and beating worshippers stationed at the gates
Dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday, the second day of the Jewish Sukkot holiday.
The Islamic Endowments Department said: "859 settlers broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque today, 602 settlers during the morning incursions period and 257 settlers in the afternoon.”
The settlers led their prayers during the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the guard of the Israeli police.
Among those who broke into Al-Aqsa was the Knesset member, Isaac Kreizer.
The occupation forces imposed their restrictions on the entry of Muslims into Al-Aqsa, preventing some from entering it and detaining the identities of worshipers at the gates.
At the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the outside, the settlers performed their collective prayers and carried the vegetable offerings "palm fronds, willows, acacias, and maples."
At Al-Silsileh Gate, the occupation forces assaulted the worshippers stationed in the area during their presence in the place, forcibly evacuating the area and preventing them from sitting and being along the road.
Meanwhile, the settlers directed insults at the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and deliberately provoked the people by directing insults and obscene gestures.
