1435 settlers storm Al-Aqsa on the fifth day of Sukkot holiday
Today, Wednesday, hundreds of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, during the morning and afternoon incursion periods, guarded by occupation forces.
The Islamic Endowments Department said that 1,435 settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque on the fifth day of Sukkot, “1,040 settlers during the morning incursions period and 395 settlers during the afternoon.”
The occupation forces imposed restrictions on the entry of worshipers to Al-Aqsa, preventing dozens from entering it and asking them to return to Al-Aqsa after three o’clock in the afternoon, “after the end of the two incursion periods,” and withholding the identity cards of those allowed to enter the mosque.
The settlers also performed their prayers at the gates of Al-Aqsa on the outside, and in Al-Buraq Square.
The forces were deployed in large numbers at the gates of Al-Aqsa and on its roads.
