The occupation authorities continued their siege imposed on Al-Aqsa Mosque by imposing restrictions on entry and police stationing at all its gates.
Worshipers explained to the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem that police officers stationed at the gates of Al-Aqsa check the identities of all those arriving to the mosque, and the police randomly prevent Muslims from entering it, and the ban affects the elderly, women and young people.
The worshipers added that the procedures at the gates of Al-Aqsa have been continuing since the seventh of last October, and have not stopped over the past days.
Settlers’ raids into Al-Aqsa Mosque continued, and 91 settlers carried out their raids through the Dung Gate, the keys of which have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem.
Storming the home of the family of the martyr Ahmed Alayan
The occupation forces, accompanied by members of the intelligence and municipality, stormed the building of the family of the martyr Ahmed Alayan, “his father and uncles,” in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber south of Jerusalem .
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem learned that the forces surrounded the building and deployed inside it, and after searching the place, imposed several fines on the family, the value of which ranged between 475-730 shekels.
It also canceled the licenses of some of the family's vehicles, and closed the "water meter" in the family home of the martyr Ahmed Alayan.
The martyr Alayan died at the end of last year, after he was shot at the Mazmoria checkpoint, and his body continues to be detained.
Raids and arrests
The occupation forces stormed the village of Issawiya, set up checkpoints in its streets, and assaulted a young man. After being injured, he was transferred to the hospital to receive treatment.
The forces also stormed Shu’fat refugee camp at dawn and arrested two boys.
In the evening hours, the forces stormed the town of Silwan, and set up a checkpoint in the Ein al-Lozeh neighborhood of the town.
