Day 108: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 108th day of “Al-Aqsa Flood Operation,” the occupation authorities carried out a massive campaign of raids in the village of Issawiya. The forces stormed the French Hospital in Jerusalem and arrested two young men, and the siege of Al-Aqsa Mosque continued.
A child martyr
The child, Jinan Abu Sneineh - the daughter of the deported freed prisoner Shuaib - died in an Israeli strike on the Gaza Strip.
Abu Sneineh was arrested in 1998 from the town of Silwan, sentenced to life imprisonment, and released in 2011 “Shalit deal” in 2011.
During the war, 3 freed Jerusalemite prisoners deported to Gaza were martyred: Mohammad Ibrahim Hamada from the village of Sur Baher, Abdel Nasser Halisi, and his brother Tariq, and all members of the Halisi family.
Issawiya...a campaign of “raids, confiscation of goods, and imposition of fines”
Police and special forces, accompanied by municipality, tax and Israeli Water Company crews, stormed the village of Issawiya, and stormed homes and shops.
Issawiya residents explained that the forces photographed the homes and posted “demolition notices/administrative demolition orders/summons to follow up with the municipality” on the doors of the homes.
The forces also searched the courtyards and roofs of homes and buildings, and issued random fines under the pretext of “the presence of water hoses inside the building, the presence of dust residues, the presence of stones, and the presence of waste papers inside the buildings.”
The forces stormed the shops in Issawiya, stationed themselves at their doors, checked the license papers for the shops and goods, confiscated some goods, especially “eggs and cigarettes”, and asked some shop owners to follow up with the municipality.
The occupation authorities carried out arrests of a number of the town’s residents during the dawn hours and morning of Monday.
Storming the French Hospital
The occupation forces arrested two young men from inside the French Hospital in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in the city of Jerusalem, after they went there to receive treatment due to the settlers’ assault on them.
119 Palestinians arrested from Jerusalem “under the pretext of illegal residency”
The Israeli police said in a statement that they arrested 119 Palestinians during the last week in the city of Jerusalem, under the pretext of entering the city “illegally.”
Siege of Al-Aqsa and settler incursions
The siege imposed on Al-Aqsa Mosque has continued since the seventh of last October, imposing restrictions on Muslims entering it, in addition to continuous presence and deployment of forces at its gates.
Meanwhile, the settlers’ raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque continued, as 162 settlers carried out their raids into Al-Aqsa during the morning and evening incursion periods, guarded by the occupation forces.

The raids into the towns and neighborhoods of Jerusalem continued, as well as setting up checkpoints and issuing fines.
A freed prisoner... deportation from the place of residence
The occupation authorities released the Jerusalemite prisoner Ali Sabra, from the village of Sur Baher, after the end of his 9-year sentence.
Immediately after his release, the intelligence summoned the prisoner Ali Sabra for investigation at the “Rooms 4” police station, then released him on the condition that he be deported from the village of Sur Baher to the village of Umm Tuba.
