Day 110: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
January 24, 2024

On the 110th day of “Al-Aqsa Flood Operation,” the siege imposed on Al-Aqsa Mosque continued, and the raids on the towns and neighborhoods of Jerusalem continued.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, quoting worshipers, explained that the police forces stationed at the gates of Al-Aqsa continue to impose restrictions on Muslims entering Al-Aqsa, by subjecting those arriving to it to inspection and identity checks, and preventing everyone from entering it.

Worshipers explained that preventing entry to Al-Aqsa is done randomly by police officers stationed at the gates, and in particular prevents young men and boys from entering.

Settlers' raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque also continue, and 81 settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa during the morning and afternoon incursion periods.

The center added that the forces continued their raids on towns and neighborhoods in Jerusalem, and stormed Jabal Al-Mukabber, Silwan, and Issawiya.

The court sentenced the young woman, Sondos Obaid, to 12 months in prison and a fine of 1,500 shekels, on charges of “incitement on Facebook,” noting that she was arrested on 29/11/2023.

On Tuesday, the court sentenced the young man, Amir Rifa’i, to 36 months in prison and a fine of 3,000 shekels.
