March 4, 2024

On the 150th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", the Hamdan family was forced to self-demolish its home in the town of Silwan, while incursions into Jerusalem's towns and neighborhoods continued and various arrests were made, and the restrictions imposed on worshipers' entry to Al-Aqsa continued.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center – Jerusalem explained, quoting the Hamdan family, that they were forced to demolish their house in the Wad Qaddoum neighborhood in Silwan by a decision of the municipality, under the pretext of building without a license, pointing out that the area of the house is 80 square meters, and it has been in existence since 2017, and 3 individuals live in it.

The occupation authorities continued to impose their restrictions on worshipers entering Al-Aqsa, with the presence and stationing of police officers at all gates, and indiscriminate prohibition particularly affecting young men and women.

Worshippers explained to the center that the forces stationed at the gates deliberately stop all arrivals, and all procedures "searching and preventing entry, and detaining identities" are subject to "the mood of the officer stationed at the gate".

The settlers' incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque also continued, and 151 settlers carried out their incursions into Al-Aqsa, through the Dung Gate, and performed prayers.

On the other hand, a session was scheduled to approve the "restrictions and measures that will be taken at Al-Aqsa during the month of Ramadan" chaired by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with the participation of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gavir, and officials from the police, the Shin Bet and the army, but it was postponed due to "Netanyahu's illness".

The incursions into the towns and neighborhoods in the city of Jerusalem continued, and various arrests were carried out from the towns and neighborhoods of the city, and the arrests were carried out from: Issawiya, Silwan, Al-Tur, Anata, Sur Baher, and Sheikh Jarrah.
