Day 162: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 162nd day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", Palestinians continued to flock to the Al-Aqsa Mosque amid police presence at the gates and all roads, and the forces continued to set up roadblocks in the streets and towns of Jerusalem.
From the hours of dawn until the Ishaa and Taraweeh prayers, tens of thousands of worshipers from Jerusalem and the Palestinian 1948 lands performed prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The occupation authorities continued to remain stationed on the gates of the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and on its roads, and stopped the young men and checked their identities and subjected some of them to searches.
The Islamic Endowments Department said that 60 thousand worshipers performed the Ishaa and Taraweeh prayers at Al-Aqsa.
The forces attacked a young man in the Lions Gate area, and arrested a young man from the Hutta Gate area, and a young woman after stopping her while trying to enter al-Aqsa through Lions Gate.
As for those who were expelled from the Al-Aqsa Mosque, they performed the Ishaa and Taraweeh prayers on the thresholds of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
