Day 171: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 171st day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", the settlers attacked the Jerusalemites in the streets and neighborhoods of Jerusalem, and hundreds of them carried out their incursions into Al-Aqsa and the police presence continued at the gates of the mosque and its roads, as the incursions into the neighborhoods and towns of the city continued as well.

During the evening hours, 3 attacks carried out by dozens of settlers in the "Ras Amoud/Silwan" neighborhood, Damascus Gate, and Jaffa Gate square were recorded.
The settlers, during their march through the streets of Jerusalem and their organization of the special processions for the “Purim” holiday, directed insults against the Palestinians and then assaulted them with beatings, pushing and pepper spray, as well as deliberately destroying the contents of shops in the Damascus Gate area.
The forces were deployed in the places of the attacks, and the young men explained that the forces assaulted them by pushing and forcibly removed them from the place.
In the morning hours until before noon, 288 settlers carried out their incursions into Al-Aqsa through Dung Gate, whose keys have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem.
Many of the settlers put on costumes on the occasion of the " Purim” holiday, and prayed during the storming of Al-Aqsa.
On the days of the holiday, "last Thursday" which was the preparatory fast for the Purim holiday, and on Sunday and Monday, 601 extremists carried out their incursions into Al-Aqsa, and they performed the prayers during the incursions under the protection of the Israeli forces.
The forces continue to be deployed and stationed at all the gates of al-Aqsa, and are stopping many of those coming to it, especially the "young men and women", before allowing them to enter the mosque.
Tens of thousands of Muslims flocked to Al-Aqsa Mosque from the hours of the Fajer prayer until the end of the Ishaa and Taraweeh prayers, on the 15th day of the month of Ramadan.
On the other hand, the forces pursued Sheikh Kamal al-Khatib in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah, and a second time when he arrived at Lions Gate while on his way to Al-Aqsa, then the police pursued him until he reached the Al-Qibli prayer hall.
In the evening hours, clashes broke out at the Shu’fat refugee camp checkpoint in Jerusalem.
The forces continued to storm the neighborhoods and towns in Jerusalem, setting up checkpoints and handing out summonses to the young men, in addition to decisions to expel them from Al-Aqsa Mosque for various periods.
