Day 172: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
March 26, 2024

On the 172nd day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", the "alleged Temple groups" announced their intention to hold the "preparatory press conference for the "slaughter of the red cow" in the city of Jerusalem", while the incursions into the towns and neighborhoods of the city continued, and dozens of settlers carried out their incursions into Al-Aqsa, guarded by police officers.

Discussing the religious preparations for the "slaughter of the red cow" ritual

The "Temple Institute" is organizing on Wednesday a conference to discuss the religious preparations for the "slaughtering of the red cow" ritual, in the "Shilo" settlement north of the city of Ramallah, which aims to purify the Jews from the "impurity of the dead" in order to bypass the ban imposed by the High Rabbinate on trespassing Al-Aqsa Mosque due to the lack of purity condition.

In the "Shilo" settlement, there are the five cows that were genetically engineered in the state of Texas and brought to occupied Palestine in October 2022, and are under special care and monitored around the clock.

At the conference - according to the announced program - a number of rabbis will speak about the rituals to be performed after the five cows have reached the "minimum legal age that allows the purification process to be performed" which is two years and two months, as it is stipulated that the age of the cows is not less than this but can be older.

In February 2024, during the war, the Temple Institute published an announcement asking for volunteer priests to train them in the ritual of purification with the red cow, and setting the special conditions for the volunteers, and it is assumed that this operation will take place in a piece of land previously seized by these groups for this purpose on the Mount of Olives across from Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to the sacred religious texts of these "alleged temple groups", the recorded date for the slaughter of the red cow and purification with its ashes is the second day of the Hebrew month of Nisan, which this year falls on 10/4/2024, which is expected to be the first day of Eid al-Fiter.

The extremist temple groups assert that holding the ritual of purification by the Red Cow could open the way for hundreds of thousands of religious Jews to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque, who abstain from that in compliance with the official rabbinical prohibition.

Al-Aqsa intrusions

Settlers continue to break into Al-Aqsa Mosque, through the Dung Gate, whose keys have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem, and 96 settlers broke into the mosque on Tuesday, guarded by police officers, and performed prayers during the incursion.

The forces continue to deploy in the streets of Jerusalem and the roads leading to Al-Aqsa, in addition to being stationed at the gates of Al-Aqsa and the placement of iron barriers.

Tens of thousands of worshipers continued to flock to Al-Aqsa on the 16th day of Ramadan, to perform prayers and participate in religious lessons and Qur'an recitation sessions, and the Islamic Endowment Department said that 35,000 worshipers performed the Ishaa and Taraweeh prayers at Al-Aqsa.

Those expelled from Al-Aqsa Mosque prayed on the "Al-Mujahidin" road between Lions Gate and Hutta Gate.

Raids and arrests

The incursions into the towns and neighborhoods in Jerusalem continued, and the forces stormed the village of Issawiya and arrested the two young men, Aziz Alayan and Majd Mahmoud.

In the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan, the forces arrested a young man.

The forces, accompanied by the municipal staff, stormed the town of Al-Tur, and placed demolition notices and summonses to follow up with the municipality.

On the other hand, the young man Ahmed Omar Rajabi was released on condition of not using "social media” platforms for two months.

As for the young man, Fouad Jibreel, he was sentenced to actual imprisonment for 13 months.

A prayer for a child from Gaza on the thresholds of Al-Aqsa
