Day 190: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
April 13, 2024

On the 190th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", the “Temple groups and organizations” continued their calls to carry out incursions into Al-Aqsa on Sunday morning, while the forces carried out arrests of Palestinians under the pretext of “trying to enter Jerusalem illegally.”

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem explained that “Temple groups and organizations” circulated calls to organize major raids on Al-Aqsa on Sunday, during the morning and afternoon raids, after the “raids” were closed since the middle of the month of Ramadan for “16 days.”

The "Temple Organizations" demanded the necessity of carrying out raids into Al-Aqsa, in large numbers and with the participation of rabbis and public figures.

Invitations to offer the Passover offerings this year inside Al-Aqsa

Meanwhile, the so-called “Temple Mount Administration” affiliated with the Union of Temple Organizations published an announcement in which it called for an attempt to storm Al-Aqsa to offer the “Jewish Passover offering” at midnight of the night before the start of Passover.

According to the invitation that was published on social media, the “Temple Mount Administration” called on its supporters to gather at the Dung Gate at 10:30 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024, to demand that they be allowed to storm Al-Aqsa, at midnight that night, to present Passover offerings inside the mosque. They asked them to bring sacrificial goats to be slaughtered and offered.

Arrests

On the other hand, the occupation forces arrested a number of Palestinians at the Al-Z’ayem checkpoint, under the pretext of “carrying a West Bank ID/and trying to enter Jerusalem illegally.”

Eyewitnesses explained that the forces stationed at the Al-Z’ayem checkpoint stopped a vehicle, and after checking the passengers’ identities, it was found that they were from the “West Bank”. They seized the vehicle and forced all the young men to get out of it, lay on the ground, extend their arms, and prevented them from moving, while they were being searched.

In the afternoon, the forces stormed the village of Issawiya.
