Day 200: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
April 23, 2024

On the 200th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, on the first day of the Jewish Passover holiday.

The Islamic Endowments Department said that 292 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, during the morning and afternoon incursion periods, "219 in the morning and 73 in the afternoon."

The raids were carried out through the Dung Gate, the keys of which have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem.

The settlers performed their prayers during the storming of Al-Aqsa and at its gates from the outside.

The forces present in Al-Aqsa removed a number of young men from Al-Aqsa courtyards and tried to determine where the worshipers would sit to keep them away from the vicinity of the settlers’ path.

At Al-Silsileh - one of the gates of Al-Aqsa - from the outside, the forces pursued those stationed in the place and prevented them from sitting in the area.

The raids on towns and neighborhoods in the city of Jerusalem also continued.
