Day 202: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
April 25, 2024

On the 202nd day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", hundreds of settlers carried out incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, and tens of thousands of them stormed the Al-Buraq Wall, on the third day of the “Jewish Passover.”

The Islamic Endowments Department said that 1,679 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa, “1,128 during the morning incursions, and 551 during the afternoon.”

The settlers performed prayers during the storming of Al-Aqsa, publicly and collectively, guarded by the forces accompanying them and deployed in Al-Aqsa, who removed a number of young men and prevented them from sitting in some areas inside Al-Aqsa’s courtyards, specifically in the settlers’ path.

As for the Old City and the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the forces deployed in large numbers and were stationed at several points, especially on Al-Wad Street and Al-Silsileh Gate Road towards the Al-Buraq Wall.

The forces prevented the people (Murabiteen) from being present and sitting at the gates of Al-Aqsa.

In Al-Buraq Square, tens of thousands of settlers prayed inside it.

The police also closed a number of main streets and intersections towards the Al-Buraq Wall.

Meanwhile, the occupation authorities renewed the administrative detention of a young Jerusalemite man until next July.
