Day 206: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
April 29, 2024

On the 206th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", dozens of settlers carried out their incursions into Al-Aqsa on the seventh and last day of the Jewish Passover holiday, and the raids on towns and neighborhoods in Jerusalem continued.

The Islamic Endowments Department said that 289 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa, “217 during the morning incursions period, and 72 during the afternoon.”

The settlers performed their prayers during the storming of Al-Aqsa.

The occupation authorities continued to impose restrictions on the entry of worshipers to Al-Aqsa during the two incursion periods, by preventing young men and women from entering it and asking them to return after three o’clock in the afternoon, and withholding the identities of those allowed to enter Al-Aqsa.

The occupation forces also prevented the presence of the (Murabiteen): Hajja Nafisa Khweis, Abu Bakr al-Shaimi, and Nitham Abu Rammouz, from sitting and being present in the Al-Silsileh Gate area and took them outside the walls of the Old City.

The “Murabiteen” explained that since the first day of Eid, they were prevented from being present at the gates of Al-Aqsa, and the forces deliberately kept them away from the vicinity of the gates of Al-Aqsa and expelled them outside the Old City on several days.

Over the days of the raids on the Jewish Passover holiday (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, and Monday), 4,345 extremists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque “during the two incursion periods, from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.” It is noteworthy that the raids on Al-Aqsa are daily, with the exception of Friday and Saturday of every week, holidays, religious occasions, and the last ten days of the month of Ramadan.

It is noteworthy that last year, during Passover week, 3,430 extremists stormed Al-Aqsa.

On the other hand, the forces stormed Shu’fat refugee camp and threw gas bombs in the streets of the camp at the same time as the students were returning to their homes from their schools.

The police also set up checkpoints in the streets of Jerusalem.
