Day 209: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 209th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", the “alleged Temple groups” began preparing for the raids on Al-Aqsa in the middle of this month on the so-called “Independence Day”, the anniversary of the Nakba, while continuing the daily raids on the mosque, and the raids on towns and neighborhoods in the city also continued.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem explained that “the groups and organizations of the alleged temple” began publishing and distributing their calls and preparations for the storming of Al-Aqsa on the 13th and 14th of this month, and to raise 500 “Israeli flags” in Al-Aqsa squares during the storming.
The extremist groups said that they placed a banner in Tel Aviv that read: “On Independence Day, Israeli flags will be raised on the Temple Mount.”
Settlers' incursions into Al-Aqsa continued, and 162 extremists carried out their incursions into Al-Aqsa, through the Dung Gate, in the form of successive groups, guarded by the occupation forces.
The Intelligence service summoned Al-Aqsa guards Arafat Najib and Musa Khalaf for interrogation next Sunday.
The occupation authorities continued their raids on towns and neighborhoods in Jerusalem, and raids were carried out on the towns of Anata, Kufor Aqab, and Silwan, in addition to setting up checkpoints in the streets and roads.
The forces arrested a boy from the town of Kufor Aqab and severely beat him.
The intelligence service summoned the two freed prisoners, Imad Al-Abbasi, and Nash’at Dawabsheh for investigation, and also summoned a boy from Silwan for investigation.
Meanwhile, the police said that they closed a café in Jerusalem for 30 days, under the pretext that it employed “a worker from Hebron who resides in the city illegally.”
