Sentencing five Jerusalemites
On Tuesday, the occupation courts issued prison sentences against 5 young Jerusalemite men.
Mohammad Mahmoud, the lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, explained that the courts issued sentences against 5 young men, ranging between 6 and a half months to 4 and a half years, on various charges including “throwing firecrackers, incitement on social media platforms, and assaulting the police.”
The sentences were as follows:
• The wounded young man, Thaer Bkeirat, “District Court”, actual imprisonment for 4 and a half years.
• Hashem Abu Al-Hawa, “District Court”, actual imprisonment for 12 months.
• Daniel Abu Nasra, “Magistrate Court”, actual imprisonment for 19 months.
• Reda Al-Dawoo, “Magistrate Court”, actual imprisonment for 25 months.
• Mahmoud Owaisat, “Magistrate Court”, actual imprisonment for 6 and a half months.
