Day 231 Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 231st day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", the forces stationed at the gates of Al-Aqsa imposed restrictions on the entry of worshipers into the mosque to perform the dawn and Friday prayers.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem explained that the forces were stationed at all the gates of Al-Aqsa and at Lions Gate, Damascus Gate, and Herods Gate- the gates of the Old City - and checked the identities of the young men arriving to Al-Aqsa after stopping them, and prevented many of them from entering without any reason.
Worshipers explained that the forces stopped the young men in particular, checked their identities, subjected them to searches, some were forced to stand against the walls during the searching operation and field investigation, and prevented the young men “randomly” from entering Al-Aqsa.
The forces also attacked and beat worshipers in the Lions Gate area.
Eyewitnesses explained that the forces arrested 3 young men from the gates of Al-Aqsa.
The forces stationed at Lions Gate also prevented young worshipers from entering Al-Aqsa to perform the dawn prayer, most of whom are residents of the Palestinian 1948 territories.
