Restrictions on entering Al-Aqsa Mosque

The occupation authorities continued to impose restrictions on the entry of worshipers to Al-Aqsa on Friday, especially for the dawn and Friday Noon prayer, by spreading and stationing at the gates of the Old City and Al-Aqsa, placing iron barriers, especially on the road to Lions Gate, stopping young men, and preventing some from entering Al-Aqsa.

The forces were also deployed among the worshipers during the Friday sermon and prayer.

Suppression of a protest to commemorate the “anniversary of the passing of Faisal Al-Husseini”

The occupation forces suppressed a protest to commemorate the passing of Faisal Al-Husseini, which was organized in front of the Orient House in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood. The forces confiscated and tore down pictures of the late Al-Husseini that were hung on the doors of the Orient House and in the vicinity of the sit-in, then evacuated the area of ​​those present by pushing them.

The coordinator of the “Preparatory Committee to Commemorate the Death of the Martyr Faisal Al-Husseini,” Ishaq Al-Qawasmi, and the Jerusalemite activist Nasser Qos were injured after being attacked by pushing them.

Demolition and displacement

Demolition operations continued in the city of Jerusalem, and the Zyadeh family self-demolished their home in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood, under the pretext of building without a permit.

Tariq Zyadeh explained that he implemented the demolition decision to avoid paying financial fines, noting that the apartment had been in existence for 10 years and 4 people lived in it.

He added that the area of ​​the apartment is 80 square meters, and he was fined several times: “The first violation was 16,000 shekels, the second was 16,000 shekels, the third was 10,000 shekels, and the last violation was 5,000 shekels,” until the final demolition decision was issued 10 days ago, with a one-month deadline to implement the demolition decision, otherwise the municipality will do so.

Raids

The forces continued to storm towns and neighborhoods in the city of Jerusalem, and set up police checkpoints in the city. The forces stormed the Shu’fat refugee camp and arrested a woman and two young men.
