June 9, 2024

On the 247th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", settlers’ raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque continued, and raids on towns and neighborhoods in the city of Jerusalem continued as well.

On Sunday, 160 extremist Jewish settlers and students stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning and afternoon incursion periods, through the Dung Gate, the keys of which have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem.

The forces carried out raids into the neighborhoods and towns of Jerusalem: Al-Tur, Shu’fat refugee camp, Issawiya, Umm Tuba, Beit Hanina, and Silwan. The forces set up checkpoints and executed arrests from a number of towns.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem explained that the forces arrested 6 Jerusalemite children, 3 from Al-Tur, in the early morning hours after storming their homes, and 3 boys from Beit Hanina while they were walking in the street, by the Musta’ribeen individuals (undercover police).

On the other hand, the police said that in the past few days, they arrested 12 Jerusalemites from Al-Tur and the Shu’fat refugee camp, and filed indictments against 6 of them.

The forces stormed Shu’fat refugee camp for several hours and dropped bombs in the streets of the camp.

The court issued an actual prison sentence against the Jerusalemite, Iyad Abu Sneineh, for a period of 11 months.
