Demolitions and raids

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem explained that the demolitions were carried out in: At-Tur, Jabal Al-Mukabber, and Silwan.

The center added that the municipality forced the Kabaja family to self-demolish their home while it was under construction.

Ihab Karajah explained that they started building 10 months ago, and two floors were built, and during that time the municipality issued a decision to demolish them, rejecting the licensing procedures, and threatening to impose financial fines on the family.

He added that they were forced to implement the demolition decision to avoid paying a financial fine "demolition fee to the municipality and its accompanying crews."

In Silwan, the forces stormed the Ein Al-Lozeh and Wadi Qaddoum neighborhoods, and carried out a demolition operation on a farm belonging to the Salaymeh family that had been in existence for 3 years, and demolished iron poles belonging to the Abu Tayeh family, after the family implemented a decision last weekend to demolish its warehouse in the area.
