Day 355 Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 355th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", the occupation municipality forced a Jerusalemite to self-demolish his home in the town of Al-Tur, while settlers continued to raid Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the forces continued their raids on neighborhoods and towns in the city of Jerusalem.
Demolition and displacement
The occupation municipality forced Ibrahim Al-Julani to self-demolish part of his home in the town of Al-Tur, under the pretext of building without a permit.
Al-Julani explained that he was forced to implement the demolition decision, after he was threatened with storming the place and implementing the decision.
Al-Julani explained that the persecution by the municipality began at the beginning of this year, by hanging the demolition decision on his home, then the weekly raids on the house continued, and on one occasion, municipal crews accompanied by large forces stormed the house, to inform him that there was an "indictment against him, which is building without a permit."
Al-Julani explained to the municipality that the building was added "since 2008" to the house that had been in existence since the 1990’s, but the municipality insisted on the demolition decision and gave him until the beginning of October to implement the decision.
Al-Julani pointed out that he would have to look for a house to rent, as what remained of the building was not large enough for his family to live in.
