Day 380 Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 380th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, hundreds of thousands of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, Al-Buraq Wall, and the city of Jerusalem on the fourth day of the “Sukkot” holiday and the forces continued their raids and arrests from the city.
Al-Aqsa incursions... large numbers and serious violations
1783 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning and afternoon incursion periods; 1399 in the morning and 384 in the afternoon, in the form of successive groups, through the Dung Gate, whose keys have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem explained that the number of intruders into Al-Aqsa today is the largest on the “Sukkot” holiday.
Al-Aqsa witnessed serious violations, some of which occurred for the first time, the most prominent of which were:
• Blowing the trumpet twice during the incursion, noting that blowing the trumpet has become repeated in Al-Aqsa, and this is the third time in weeks that the trumpet has been blown in Al-Aqsa "at the beginning of the Hebrew month, the beginning of the Hebrew year "on Friday", and today on the fourth day of the Sukkot holiday, and the goal of blowing the trumpet is "to show control and sovereignty over Al-Aqsa".
• The center noted that the settlers blew the trumpet during the years "2021/2022/2023/2024".
• Collective and public prayers, group prostration and singing. The prayers were concentrated in the eastern area near the Bab al-Rahma prayer hall, in addition to prayers in the corridors and at the various courtyards overlooking the Dome of the Rock.
• Performing the "Musaf/Madfa" prayer for the Sukkot holiday, in the Bab al-Rahma prayer area for the first time in Al-Aqsa, and the "morning" prayer.
• Presenting plant offerings in Al-Aqsa, which are the four plants "citron, myrtle, willow, palm frond bud" and praying in them.
• Participation of rabbis and activists in the organizations and groups of the "alleged temple" in the incursions and praying with the offerings.
At the Al-Buraq Wall, hundreds of thousands invaded the area from dawn until evening, and in the morning they performed the "Priests of Blessing" prayer, with the wide participation of senior rabbis, ministers in the occupation government, and members of the Knesset.
At the gates of Al-Aqsa from the outside, the settlers performed collective prayers, carried plant offerings, and placed loudspeakers.
While walking in the streets of the Old City of Jerusalem, the settlers assaulted journalists, merchants, and passersby, and directed insults at them. They also vandalized motorcycles in the early morning hours.
Closures, deployment, and checkpoints
Since dawn, the forces set up their checkpoints on the roads and streets leading to the Dung Gate area, reaching the Al-Buraq Wall, and closed some roads and allowed buses and vehicles carrying only settlers to pass through them.
The forces were deployed around the Old City and at its gates, and on the roads and gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and set up checkpoints on the roads.
During the raids, the police forces imposed restrictions on the entry of worshipers, preventing young men and women from entering Al-Aqsa, while checking the IDs of the elderly before allowing them to enter.
In the streets of the Old City, the forces stopped young men and checked their IDs.
Arrests and deportations
The forces arrested Abdel Min’em Idris, and extended his detention until tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the occupation authorities deported Hajja Nafisa Khweis from Al-Aqsa Mosque for a week with the possibility of extending it for 6 months.
Khweis explained that the forces detained her on Friday while she was in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa - after preventing her from entering it - and handed her a summon to be investigated today at the "Al-Qishla" police center. After detaining and investigating her today, they handed her a decision to deport her from Al-Aqsa for a week, asking her to return immediately after the deportation ends, to be handed a "deportation from Al-Aqsa for several months" and to inform her verbally that its duration will be for 6 months.
