Day 382 Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation

On the 382nd day of "Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, hundreds of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa on the sixth day of the Sukkot holiday, and prayers continued at the Buraq Wall, amidst closures of the streets and roads leading to it. Meanwhile, the police said that they arrested 7 young men from the Beit Safafa area, and the intelligence services deported a freed prisoner from the city of Jerusalem. Massive incursions and ongoing violations

1424 extremists carried out their incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on the sixth day of the Feast of Tabernacles, "742 during the morning period, and 700 during the "afternoon" period.

The settlers continued their violations in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, represented by performing collective and public prayers in Al-Aqsa, dancing, singing and clapping, in addition to prostrating "prostrate" in several areas in Al-Aqsa.

The senior rabbis participated in the incursions, and performed prayers accompanied by the settlers in Al-Aqsa.

At the gates of Al-Aqsa from the outside, the settlers performed collective prayers carrying "plant offerings".

The settlers also performed prayers at the Buraq Wall - the western wall - of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Since the morning hours, the forces have closed the roads leading to the Al-Buraq Wall, "Lions Gate Road and streets in the town of Silwan", which led to traffic jams in the streets.

Administrative detention

The occupation authorities transferred the Jerusalemite prisoner Samer Abu Eisheh to administrative detention for 6 months. Abu Eisheh was arrested last Thursday.

Deportations

The intelligence services deported the freed Jerusalemite prisoner Walid Alayan from the city of Jerusalem for 5 days. The prisoner Alayan was released from the Negev desert prison, after spending one year under administrative detention, which was renewed 3 times in a row.

Alayan was summoned for investigation at the "Rooms 4" center, and was released on condition of deportation from Jerusalem.

On Sunday, the intelligence services also handed Abu Bakr Shaimi a decision to expel him from Al-Aqsa for a week, with the possibility of renewing it for 6 months.

Shami explained that the forces detained him on Friday while he was in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa - after preventing him from entering it - and handed him a summon for investigation at the “Al-Qishla” police center. After detaining and investigating him on Sunday, a decision was handed to him to expel him from Al-Aqsa for a week, with a request for him to return immediately after the ban ends, to be handed another order to be banned from entering Al-Aqsa for several months.

Raids

The forces continued to raid towns and neighborhoods in the city of Jerusalem. The forces raided the village of Issawiya and threw tear gas bombs randomly in the streets of the village, coinciding with the students leaving their schools.

Arrests

The Israeli police said in a statement that last month it arrested 7 Palestinians between the ages of "17-23" from Beit Safafa, on charges of "spying for Iran" and planning "to assassinate an Israeli scientist and the mayor.” The intelligence continues to investigate the young men and extended their detention until 24/10/2024, to file indictments against them.
