Day 423 Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 423rd day of "Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, hundreds of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and raids on towns and neighborhoods in Jerusalem continued.
Al-Aqsa Mosque
493 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque "397 during the morning, 96 during the afternoon", under the protection of the occupation forces.
The settlers performed their prayers during the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem said that 851 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa on Sunday and Monday to commemorate the beginning of the Hebrew month and performed daily prayers and rituals for the beginning of each month. The courtyards of Al-Aqsa witnessed public and collective prayers during the two days, especially in the eastern area and the western corridor under the protection of policemen.
Settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis, except for Fridays and Saturdays of each week through the Dung Gate, whose keys have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem.
Demolition notices in Issawiya
Municipality crews accompanied by police officers raided the village of Issawiya and distributed demolition notices and summonses to follow up with the municipality.
Raids and arrests
At dawn, the forces raided the Shu’fat refugee camp and the town of Anata and arrested a young man.
In the afternoon, the forces stormed the village of Jabal al-Mukabber, arrested a young man, and assaulted the young men by pushing them.
The police said that they arrested a young man from the town of Silwan.
The forces also arrested a young man from the town of Beit Hanina.
Yesterday, Munther al-Rajabi, 42 years old, from the town of Silwan, turned himself in to prison to serve his actual prison sentence of 5 months.
The Rajabi family explained that Munther was arrested in 2021 during the settlers' attack on the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in Silwan, and was accused of confronting them, then he was released and the court sessions continued over the past months, until the verdict was issued against him to an actual prison sentence of 5 months and to pay a fine of 1250 shekels.
The court also issued a verdict against his brother Jadallah al-Rajabi to do "public service" and to pay a fine of 1250 shekels.
