Storming Issawiya and Silwan, arrests and deportations from Al-Aqsa
The occupation forces stormed the town of Silwan and the village of Issawiya in the city of Jerusalem, and carried out arrest operations in the city.
In the evening hours, the forces stormed the Wadi Hilweh neighborhood in Silwan, and arrested the young man Ala’ Sumrein, and assaulted his family by beating and pushing them. The forces also deployed around his house and closed the road during the arrest operation.
They also arrested journalist Ahmed Jalajel after storming his house in the Al-Thori neighborhood in the town of Silwan. After hours of detention and investigation at the O’z police station in Jabal Al-Mukabber, he was released.
Large forces also stormed the village of Issawiya, and deployed in its streets, throwing sound bombs, and infantry squads brandished weapons at the windows of houses.
The forces also stormed the house of the freed prisoner Rose Khweis.
On the other hand, a session was held today for journalist Bayan Jo’beh, and the judge decided to extend her house arrest for two weeks in her home in Shu’fat refugee camp.
Jo’beh was arrested on Friday from Al-Aqsa Mosque on suspicion of "incitement", and was released on condition of house arrest in her father's house in the Old City, and house arrest for 5 days, then she was summoned for investigation yesterday, and a court session was set for her on today's date, where the house arrest decision was renewed.
Late yesterday evening, the police released journalist Nadine Ja’far on condition that she be banned from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque for a week, and that she return for investigation next Monday for the possibility of renewing the ban.
The intelligence also summoned the freed prisoner Hanadi Al-Halawani and handed her an order to ban her from entering Al-Aqsa for a week with the possibility of renewal.
Yesterday, the freed prisoner Jamil Al-Abbasi was banned from entering Al-Aqsa for a week with the possibility of renewal, as he was arrested from the Hutta Gate area and detained for several hours at the police station.
