April 10, 2025

A 12-year-old child was injured during a raid on the Shu’fat refugee camp in Jerusalem. Arrests and raids were carried out in the camp.

The Red Crescent said its crews responded to a child injured in the head by a rubber bullet inside the Shu’fat refugee camp in Jerusalem. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Video footage documented the moment the child was injured, as young men carried him through the camp streets to transport him to a safe place for treatment. Meanwhile, forces randomly targeted young men and passersby with rubber bullets.

The forces stormed the camp in large numbers in the afternoon, assaulting residents and merchants with sound bombs and rubber bullets. They also carried out raids and arrests.

The forces raided a barbershop inside the camp, vandalized its contents, and arrested its owner, Bashar al-Dibs.

In the Damascus Gate area, forces arrested a woman and a young man, severely beating the young man and spraying him with pepper gas. The woman was released after being detained and interrogated on field.

The occupation authorities renewed the administrative detention of Jerusalemite prisoner Samer Abu Eisheh for six months, for the second time in a row.

Abu Eisheh was arrested in October 2024 and transferred to administrative detention.
