The occupation forces demolish facilities in Sur Baher and Issawiya and continue arrests in Jerusalem
On Monday, Israeli municipality vehicles carried out demolitions in the villages of Sur Baher and Issawiya in Jerusalem.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Jerusalem explained that the demolitions affected agricultural and animal facilities (barracks and shelters) belonging to several Jerusalemite families, which have been in existence for years.
In a related development, the occupation forces arrested former prisoner Imad Abeesan after detaining him in the town of Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem. Abeesan, from the town of Silwan, had spent several years in Israeli prisons.
Also, the Jerusalemite youth Ali Zama’ra turned himself in to prison to serve a three-month prison sentence. The occupation forces had arrested him last November and later released him on house arrest, before recently issuing him a prison sentence.
