The occupation authorities transferred the Jerusalemite Mohammad Barakat Odeh from the Shu’fat refugee camp to administrative detention for six months, after arresting him last Thursday, July 23, 2026, and referring him for interrogation.
Mohammad Odeh is the brother of the Jerusalemite Iyad Odeh, who has been under administrative detention since last January, and whose administrative detention has been renewed twice.
Mohammad Odeh is the eldest son and the breadwinner for his family since the death of his father, Barakat Odeh, in 2022. The occupation authorities continue to withhold his father's body to this day.
