Demolition of a house, along with the self-demolition of another house and two warehouses in Jerusalem
The Israeli occupation authorities and the Jerusalem municipality persist in issuing demolition orders for Palestinian homes and structures across various neighborhoods and towns in the city, citing unauthorized construction as the reason.
Demolition of Mohammad al-Rweidi's house in Silwan
Jerusalem municipal bulldozers demolished Mohammad Mahmoud al-Rweidi's home in the Bir Ayoub neighborhood of Silwan, citing illegal construction.
The house was approximately 80 square meters and housed eight people.
The municipality also forced Khalaf Odeh to self-demolish his home and two storage units, under an order from the occupation municipality, also claiming they were built without permits.
The house was approximately 90 square meters and housed about 11 people.
Odeh was also forced to empty and demolish the two storage units.
It is worth noting that the occupation municipality had previously forced Odeh to self-demolish his home about two years ago.
Demolition order for sheep pen
In the town of Beit Hanina, the occupation authorities issued a new demolition order against Jerusalemite Mohammad Al-Obaidi’s property, which includes a sheep pen under the pretext of building without a permit.
