After his body was withheld for two days, the funeral of Jerusalemite martyr Bahaa Al-Natsheh was held in Jerusalem
The funeral procession for Jerusalemite martyr Bahaa Sami Al-Natsha (19), from Kafr Aqab north of Jerusalem, took place Sunday evening after his body was withheld for two days.
After funeral prayers in the hospital courtyard, the procession set off from Al-Maqased Hospital in Jerusalem and headed to the Al-Mujahideen Cemetery on Salah al-Din Street.
Mourners chanted *Takbeerat* (Allahu Akbar) and slogans honoring the martyr at both the hospital and the cemetery, where he was laid to rest at Al-Mujahideen Cemetery.
Al-Natsheh died Friday evening from critical gunshot wounds inflicted by settlers in Kobar, north of Ramallah.
At the time, the Ministry of Health announced that the young man, Bahaa Sami Al-Natsha, had died from gunshot wounds inflicted by settlers.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society, for its part, said occupation forces had blocked ambulance crews from reaching Kobar, ordered them to leave and hand over the injured—whom the forces said they would treat—and then seized the martyr's body.
On Friday, settlers had fired live ammunition at a group of citizens in the town of Kobar.
