The occupation sentences a child and extends the arrest of two girls
The Magistrate judge sentenced a minor from Silwan for actual imprisonment and extended the arrest of two Jerusalemite girls to submit indictments against them.
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the judge sentenced Jibril Al-A’war for 5 months of actual imprisonment, a suspended probation of 4 months for two years and a 3-thousand NIS fine.
Al-A’war was arrested on 21/11/2015 from inside his school in the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan.
The public prosecution submitted a prosecutor’s permit to submit an indictment against Sundos Samir Obeid and the judge extended her arrest until Friday.
The judge also extended the arrest of the minors Mohammad Yaghmour and Omar Burqan until 19/7/2016, Hussein Sub Laban until 21/4/2016 and Mohammad Haymooni until 12/4/2016; the hearings will be allocated to hear witnesses.
Lawyer Mahmoud added that a hearing session was held for Rama Abdellatif and the judge decided to release her on condition of house-arrest and deportation to the village of “Ein Naquba”. The releasing was postponed until checking the deportation location. Also, a session was scheduled for her on 13/4/2016 to read the indictment against her.
The lawyer also added that the judge extended the arrest of Odai Obeid until 4/4/2016, Bashar Jbareen until 19/5/2016, Subhi Abu Khalifeh until 2/5/2016, Malek Aweisat until 1/4/2016 and Ahmad Za’tari until 4/5/2016.
The judge also released Ahmad Faraj Da’na with a 500-NIS bail, house-arrest for 5 days and a third-party bail of 3 thousand NIS.
The Magistrate judge also decided to release the minors Amir Abu Jom’a and Yousef Abulhawa with a 500-NIS and a third-party bail for each but the police appealed the releasing decision of Abulhawa.
